These pads are designed for the USMC Infantry , they are thicker and have more bottom foam in them as well as briar protection . The average Thermarest pad runs for $75 .
These pads are designed NOT to FAIL under COMBAT situations , similar pads in very bad condition are selling on ebay for way more than I am asking for two new ones .
