We should give thanks to our significant others

I've been under the weather recently and have had time to just sit around the house. It struck me as I looked around how my wife lets me do stuff.

I routinely use my bushbuddy in the basement in my woodstove to make tea
I routinely use my alcohol stoves in front of my woodstove on the stone hearth to make tea
She got me a hammock stand for Christmas and I now lay in it to watch movies with her.
I frequently sleep in my hammock at night when my shifts change
Our storage room is full of my gear
I have a hanging set up in our laundry room (used before the I got the hammock stand) but still occassionally use.
Sometimes I have a tablefull of cordage when I am fiddling.

I could go on but I just wanted to say that we should be thankful to those around us that support us as we enjoy our passions.

I'm taking my MUCH better half with me to the Oklahoma hang tomorrow

. She's not 100% convinced yet, but she puts up with me and my crazy...

A lucky man am I

My wife allows me to go to concerts, run a disc golf group and go on week long + backpacking trips.

SHT thru-hike in July (still in works)

Hopefully the porcupine fest in Aug, but she'll be there with me
