I've been under the weather recently and have had time to just sit around the house. It struck me as I looked around how my wife lets me do stuff.
- I routinely use my bushbuddy in the basement in my woodstove to make tea
- I routinely use my alcohol stoves in front of my woodstove on the stone hearth to make tea
- She got me a hammock stand for Christmas and I now lay in it to watch movies with her.
- I frequently sleep in my hammock at night when my shifts change
- Our storage room is full of my gear
- I have a hanging set up in our laundry room (used before the I got the hammock stand) but still occassionally use.
- Sometimes I have a tablefull of cordage when I am fiddling.
I could go on but I just wanted to say that we should be thankful to those around us that support us as we enjoy our passions.
