Ok, I'm a whoopie newb having never used them until I got my Light Hiker. Having been caught in nonstop rain before I was wondering how easy whoopies are to adjust when they're wet. My straps and ring buckles are incredibly easy.

Very easy.
Easy when frozen too. (just covering both cases of extreme)
I ride a recumbent.
I like to HAM it up on the CW.
I use Linux.
I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!
Rug.
Hang On!
Like Rug says, they easily adjust when wet.
I was out in rain last weekend. 42F when I went to bed, 37F when I got up and rained all night. I always loosen my whoopies before packing in case the next site is a far stretch, and had no problems doing so.
Cool. Thanks guys.
