    LeighLo Custom UQ

My LeighLo custom all black trapezoid UQ has arrived

    IMG_7205.jpg

At first sights this thing looks awesome. With a little help from Hangnout (leighs dad) I decided to go with a trapezoid shaped (basically tapered from 44" at shoulders to 34" at feet) to better fit the hour glass shape that a bridge hammock takes on when laid in. Both Hangnout and LeighLo were awesome in the Customer service department! They took on customizations of both shape and color with basically no upcharge. Also, Leigh began making my quilt before I had the funds to pay her, so that it was ready to ship just a few days after payment... this is a level of good faith that is hard to find these days.

To be honest, I had some worries at first while considering Leigh's because she is not yet as well established a vendor as others in the forums. I can tell you now that these worries had no basis in reality!

    The stitching is top-notch...

There is a whopping 4" of loft in the center

and she didn't skimp on the materials for suspension, and even customized it to best fit my hammock

At the prices she is charging ($150 for 2/3 UQ, $220 for full length) and the quality of the merchandise, it's hard to beat right now. I will be hanging with it this friday coming up with Wags, and will have action shots. Thanks for an awesome product Leigh!

Mine is actually 60" length and I believe it is right around 17oz or so. The tapering actually saves a little in the weight department as well since your legs don't need 44" of coverage. As for your wife, I think mine is going to start a support group soon, so I'll keep you in the loop.

Here's some pics of it on the BMBH. It fit awesome, but I was alone, so no pics yet with hanger in it.

Although this is an older post, this is good to hear. I sold my 3/4 KAQ to go with something a little lighter. I was looking around, and came across LeighLo's handiwork that someone else had. I looked into it, and decided to pull the trigger. I look forward to getting this in a couple of weeks, just in time (hopefully) for our first MA hang. I plan on giving it a couple of test runs before then of course
