Thumbs up Love my new JRB Hudson River

I bought a JRB Hudson River TQ from jefftrex in Canada last week. With all the horror stories about delays in customs, I figured it wouldn't see it for a few more weeks, but he shipped it on Tuesday and I got it yesterday. So naturally, I had to test it in my backyard lab last night.

We'll from the title of this thread, I think you get the picture of what I think of it. Here's why:
    1. The craftsmanship of this is impeccable. All the seams are perfectly straight and you can tell when you see it that it is a quality piece of work.
    2. It is rated down to 25 to 30 degrees. It got down to 32 here last night and I was still plenty warm. I'm sure it can go the other 7 degrees.
    3. It is soft and very light weight! It beats the heck out of the open sleeping bags I was using.
    4. Flexibility - It can also be used as a full length UQ. I didn't try that yet, but Jeff did throw in a suspension set, so it is on my to do list.

Oh, a big thanks to jeffrex for selling this to me!

Depending on you, it may be possible to go quite lower. I regularly use myine into the teens and am plenty toasty. Enjoy it. One of my favorite pieces of gear. Getting a summer weight quilt next.

I use my Hudson River down to 30F. If I'm expecting colder I take the Old Rag Mountain. The Hudson River works great as an under quilt too. I use mine in winter doubled with my 3 season Yeti and it works great.
