Never leave home with out a bugnet.

I thought you had invented a new style bottom entry hammock

It's high speed low drag. I can be in and out of the hammock in the blink of an eye. It only works once though....

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm going to make my new hammock with an incorporated bug net.

I recommend having a bug net. I love the bug resistance of my Skeeter Beater Pro, and I have a DIY net to go over my GT UL when needed. Even If I don't think I'll encounter bugs, I will take a bug head net just in case.

So how'd you blow out your original hammock? What was it made of, etc?
Ditto,,, I just made a bug net that 200 holes per SQ in vs the no-see-um at 625 holes per SQin. very breathable and doesn't keep your body heat in... the only bad side its alittle heavier,,, but I can feel the slightest breeze...
I have not done a good bug test on it yet,,, but its coming...

Last night I thought (for about 5 min) that I'd be able to make it w/o the net. I quickly set about untying the netting and zipping it up. Removable might be nice so you could leave the weight at home but you never really know when you'll need it. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
