Summer is nearly here... time to disappear

    Howdy folks.
Just wanted to let folks know that I'll be scarce until it cools down in the fall.
We are on the water most of the warm months and I've already had to cut back my participation in the DIY and PIF threads due to other commitments.
I'll still check in occasionally, but if anyone needs me in a timely manner, best to PM me, as that will show up in my personal email.
    Have a great summer!

Summertime often makes me daydream of just disappearing. Just walking off into the woods and leaving the nonsense behind.
But then I remember what winter in the mountains feels like, so I break camp and go home.

    Have fun on the water!

Im feeling the same way, but it's rolling into what passes for winter down here.

If things go well we may even see rain soon! (maybe)

Winter/Spring hikes are my preferred for West Oz. More chance of water, cooler temps (as opposed to 40c/104f + in summer) no flies, and the smell of the Bush is awesome after rain.
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.

As soon as we (the family) gets back from seeing that big rodent in Florida, I have 3 trips pretty much back to back. Can't wait!!! School and work have been kicking my rear so I am ready to disappear. Have a great and safe Summer.

I've been getting excited to go camping again this season, but alas, here in Washington, it snowed in a few places, low elevations, yesterday... Middle of April and still snowing at sea level. I haven't used my hammock yet and am getting real antsey. Feels like summer is a looooooong way off.
