Nice organizer. I like the center opening.

I used a stiff mosquito netting (not the stretchy no-see-um). I like to be able to see what's in it.

I disagree with the prussiks (just my preference). I can pull it close to get things out and then slide it out of the way instead of having it in a fixed position.

I agree... if your section where you photographed the book laying sideways is open through the entire organizer, or even just at the top, you could easily run your ridgeline through the whole thing rather than feeding it through several loops or adding velcro/loops to hang it from... it will give it a much nicer hang.

i had thought about just running my ridgeline through the center, especially after i had thought about making one continuous velcro tab. the reason i choose to go with the tabs is so i can remove it quickly rather than taking my ridgeline off. i liked the way johnsawyer did his with the velcro but i ended up with tabs because i miss calculated on the size. i kind of went in with an idea but no plan.

ill have to give the prussics a try. even if they dont work out i can always sew on the tab. i like yours gm, with the netting so you can see whats in it. i think my next one will be like that. and next time ill plan it out a bit more

Add a drawstring and it'll double as a stuff sack!

i thought about that, i would need one on each side so i dont know how good of a sack it would be. plus i somehow managed to get 6 different stuff sacks. not that im complaining .

speaking of (and not to get off topic) but does anyone have plans to make a diy compression sack? i could do one with side compression but im thinking about top to bottom as well.

I love your idea, so I am stealing it. However, I am making some minor changes: the central (support) section is nylon, with outer sections done in polyester mesh. Two simple prussics will hold the entire works in place.

Thanks to all for sharing your ideas!

    Cheers
