    JRB Poncho Weather Shield

So, I watched a video where one of the Jacks were talking about not minding people DIYing the Driducks Weathershield. I just picked up one for cheap. The only thing I have a question on are the elastic tie outs for the Hennessy Hammocks. What are the measurements on them? How long are the loops and how far from the end of the poncho? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone out there have a Driducks weather shield they don't mind measuring for me? (Yes this is a shameless bump)

Pack, might be easier to hang your hammock and measure it up yourself.

Yeah, I could always do that. Just hoping I could get some direction, as my shock cord wont be in for a bit.

What shock cord do you mean? I'm not recalling any in the DriDucks Poncho mod kit put out by JRB. I didn't put them on mine and I think I threw away the directions, but let me see what I can find.

Ok. I was just checking out this video. You need the shock cord measurements in order to put them on (in case of Hennessy). Maybe one of the Jacks can help you out?

Exactly the video I was referring to. In the video he mentions that it can be done DIY style. I chose that option. I am/was trying to figure out how far down to place the loops. I guess I'll just suck it up and play it by ear, if I don't get a response.

I used to have the directions that came with the mod kit. I'll have to see if I still have them once I get back home.

Ok, thanks. I'll hold out on it for a while. My shock cord just shipped today so when I gets in I can suspend my undercover, and measure myself where to put the elastic ties.

Unfortunately my instructions must've gotten recycled. I can't find them. You may try emailing Pan or Smee at JRB. I'm sure they can tell you.
