Keikepono, the short answer is that there aren't any simple instructions on how to build a tensegrity hammock stand. We're still working out a method, and what MacEntyre and I have both learned is that it takes very strong struts to make a stand that's safe to hang a hammock on. He experimented with aluminum antenna mast sections, and I worked with steel fence rails, but both have bent under load. Right now I'm trying to squeeze some of my fence rails into some of the aluminum poles I got from Mac to make a double strut, but it's a tight fit. I may or may not finish this in time to take it to the MAHHA hang April 29th. If it works, I'll post pics and suggest some construction techniques, but it seems likely now that I won't have time to work on it until later this summer.
