    Polyester or Nylon

    Simple question...
What is the best thread to use is it 100% nylon or 100% polyester or a blend of these. I have all three of these, but I want to know what is most common to use and why. I thought I heard somewhere that nylon was best, but from what I've been reading, it sounds like a lot of people are using a blend. Thanks in advance for the input!
    God Bless,

The 100% polyester from Guttermans's very popular.

100% polyester. Like stoikurt said Guttermans is the best and sold at Jo Anns Fabrics.

Blends are fine, as long as there is no cotton/linen/ramie included- thise will degrade with time and moisture. A Poly/nylon blend might be the best of both worlds, But the Guttermann's is great quality and widely available- don't buy any of that 10 rolls for a dollar stuff- thread is one area where the dollar bin will bite you!
