    Steve, I made mine tonight and only have a few hand stitches to do but so far this is a great project. I changed one thing:

    While I bought 2 yards of ripstop, I bought 2.5 fleece. What I did with the extra half yard was to fold it back over at the foot end and sew it. The seam I put on the inside between the walls. This way I wouldn't pull it loose when putting my feet in. It allows my feet to have a 1 1/2 foot of double fleece.

    Oooooh, I like that idea - super simple!! I was thinking about adding an extra layer in the footbox but didn't think about doing it that way. Sometimes the simplest way of doing something is by far the best way. I'll end up making a few more fleece TQs for my kids...your idea will definitely be incorporated into future versions.

    I finished the last hand stitches and made another quick mod. I added two elastic loops to one side of the foot box so after I fold it and roll it, I can keep it rolled. Basically like most cheap sleeping bags have.
