Smile You know you're a hammocker when...

Please respond and add more to the list. I'll start.

    1. Given ANY two trees, you can immediately estimate the circumference of both, how far they are apart, and whether your hammock would fit in between them.
    2. You stare at people who don't know what you're talking about when you say whoopie sling.
    3. You routinely snicker at "ground dwellers".
    4. You know more knots than most Boy Scouts.
    5. You complain about a ten cent increase in gas prices, but then go home and buy another lightweight tarp for 200+ dollars.

You can't go for a drive - anywhere - without saying, "Yeah, I could hang there; no not there; yeah, yeah, no. Yeah over there, maybe."

Friends call the police when you tell them that there's nothing more relaxing than slipping inside your Blackbird.

You tell your friends that you're well hung and they just giggle.

    1. Your biggest fears are condensation and zombies

    2. You buy bud light and Heineken just for the bottles.

    3. You can sew better than any skirt you know and you do it while wearing a kilt. (which you also sewed yourself.)

I do that ALL the time when I'm hiking

When you can sew better than your wife.

You know you're a hammocker if you can read this and completely understand it.

My first hammock after I joined HF was an ENO DN. I still use it for lounging but nowadays I use a WBBB 1.1 DL with WB TQ and UQ to avoid CBS. I also have a TTTG SB LH. Unlike the BB the LH has no SRL. I may consider a BMBH in the future. For suspension I use CB's for both but also use WS, webbing and DC's. The DC's came from JRB and the webbing from AHE. I've also tried UCR's but prefer WS. My tarp for winter is an OES and I use a CRL and keep it in SS. For really cold temps I add IX to my TQ and UQ to act as a VB. To warm me up I boil water in my BB but also use my FF alchy. Looking to pick up a ULA for a trip this summer. I do a little DIY but nothing big. I HYOH and I am happy.
