WBBB 1.0 DL vs. 1.1 DL

Have any of you heard of any durability issues with the WBBB 1.0 double layer hammocks? I know they are less weight, thinner material. Just wanted to check and see if anyone knew of a greater incidence of rips, tear, etc. during normal expected use.

    Thanks

    My 2 Cents

    winstone,

I have purchased for my first hammock a WBBB Dbl. 1.0 and am very pleased with my purchase. I have posted some pics and a little more information about the WBBB Dbl. 1.0 here:

    http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=31430

I went to a Feb. PA winter hang and saw both the WBBB Dbl. 1.0 and WBBB Dbl. 1.1 there, Both are saaweeet hammocks. The WBBB 1.0 weighs a little less, IMO if the max weight limit rating of 260 lbs. is in your range no problems if you buy it.

I have had mine for about a month and have experinced my hammock to be very confortable, well built and will beleive it will last/serve me well for a long, long time. IMO this hammock is not crapily made and have no buyers remorse purchasing it.

I have a couple 1.0DL, one brown and one grey. I have only had one a couple weeks but the other I picked up in the fall of last year. It has been out 30+ nights over the last 6 months and I haven't noticed anything yet. I am very cautious about what I have in my pockets and I don't sleep with anything that has zippers, just in case. So far I am very happy with this hammock and haven't noticed anything.

Thanks for your response, I feel more comfortable about buying a new 1.0 DL now due to less weight and lower cost!

While I have a 1.0 (wifes) and 1.7 (mine), the only wear I have noticed is on the cords attached to the hammock for the shelf side and the side I get in
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
