Hammock Hangers on Facebook

Hey Folks!

I'm Steve from Thunder Bay,ON. I've been hanging for 2 seasons now I guess and I still haven't found a core group of people who are die hard hammockers... I can't even really discuss hammocking up here as people assume you are talking about one of those mesh jobbies....

If anyone is interested PLEASE join me on facebook. The group is called "Hammock Hangers in Canada" I'm trying to take the last part of the name out, as I realize there is a huge population in the U.S. Since the Shug's of the world are down there, I hope that people are also on FB.

(I wish I was on HF from day 1, I find it really hard to follow and find info)

I signed up for FB once in an evening to see a friends video. I was deluged in the morning with all sorts or requests. Seemed like a lot of answering to do so I de-activated.
Now I live as a FB contrarian)))))))
Realizing a place like HF was a good social medium for me as hammocks and backpacking with a hammock are a terrific buffer to real life.

As a person with so many excellent video's on utube I could see were tons of FB peeps would want to be your FB friend.

I hope that people are also on FB.

Hi Tuniq, I'll join your FB group to see what it's all about. Love talking hammocks and hanging in general.
I usually post all my hammock adventures on my FB page to share with my family and friend.
I find the FB photo gallery so much easier to use than most forum galleries. uploading one at a time really sucks
if you are trying to put together a trip report.
