New whoppie's and tarp set up

First I want to thank all you who have posted write ups and videos.

While use my HH out on a hike lst week I decided I was going to put it one it's own suspension. It was nice weather and I really wanted to put it higher. I had already decided to put one whoopies and had ordered the material.

Last night I made the whoopies, and put them on the hammock. Today I set up the tarp. I use the HH hooks on a prusik on a ridgeline made out of zing it. I also made some of the self adjusting guys....

I do have one question... when you break down do you put lots of slack in your whoopies, or just leave it as is? I left it as is but now wonder if I shouldn't have added slack to make the next hang easier if the trees are farther apart.....

Here are a few out of focus images... I should have used my camera instead of the phone...

Looks like you've got yourself a pretty good setup! As to the whoopies, I generally extend them all the way out so they're easier to do a figure 8 around my hand. Sometimes I just leave them the way they are and stuff them into my double ended stuff sack. It's just personal preference, there is no right or wrong way of doing it.

Yeap there's more than one way to skin a cat... I started to slack them off, but it is easier to put the skins on with every thing kinda tight.

I'm going to make skins for this stock tarp, and for the maccat I have ordered once it gets here...
