    No sew hammock?

    Is it possible?

    Here's my thoughts:
Trim the head/foot ends with a hot knife to get a good melt there, use a ball type whipping that I saw on here somewhere, and rely on the selvedge of the material to maintain the sides.

certainly can work, how long it will last depends on material, usage, etc.

see Just Jeff's page for detailed info (1.3 talks about hemming the edges).

I've spent three nights in a no-sew hammock. No need to do a ball type whipping, a regular whipping will do. I'm not planning to stay this way forever, but as a test hammock it's workable. I want to do a little more testing before I get to the next step aka thread injection.
