    New gear to break in!!

Over this past winter, I had the opportunity to pick up some new gear to play with this year. I liquidated a lot of my older equipment, and that money, combined with some tax $$$, bargain shopping, and a little extra last week, I picked up some new stuff. I am planning on giving most of it a good shakedown this weekend at a local campground. Here is what I picked up:
Kelty Redwing 3100-got this cheap, and is perfect for my usual trips of 2 or 3 overnights.
Whoopie slings-these are replacing my current buckle system on my WBBB. Looking forward to trying these!
Superfly tarp-I ordered this last week, while I was looking for a cheap tarp for my GF. I had a little money left over from taxes, so I bit the bullet & ordered it. So, she will get my Speer .
LeighLo 3/4 UQ-this I am excited to try! I had a full length synthetic one, but wanted something smaller, that I can pack in the Kelty. This fit the bill perfectly!

I will do a trip report after this weekend-I will get al least a couple hours under the pack-filled, it rides nice right now. I want to see how it feels once it starts settling in. The rest of the gear is just replacement for other gear that worked fine-I guess I have a problem, that I am always looking for something new

Congrats on your purchases. I have two of Leigh's 3 season UQ's, one for myself and one for friends that come that don't have a full set of hammock gear.

I have had mine now for a year and really enjoy them. They are a great product.

The UQ I look forward to dialing in, the most. I havent tried the 3/4 one, so I am interested to see how it does. Its gonna be a nice weekend too, which will make in nothing but pleasant .
I hung the Superfly in my apt last night, because I couldnt stand to wait until I got it outside to see it . I LOVE the design of this thing!
