My wife bought a hammock!

OK, it's not like what we here at HF usually use, but for MY wife to go that far is almost as spectacular as a turtle sprouting wings.

Friday my oldest son found these cotton hammocks at Big Lots for $12.00. Yesterday (Sunday) they were in there for other reasons & she bought one "for the grandson", at the check out they found out that instead of $12.00 it was now $9.00 "FOR TODAY ONLY!" So she got herself one & me one.

This is the same wife who won't even try any of my other hammocks & now she actually owns one.
Granted, this hammock is very narrow (pretty hard to lay diagonal) but it's a start, & now that she owns one, there is no chance for her to get out of at least giving it a try.
AND I got another hammock out of the deal.

The day my Missus buys any type of hammock, one of which is for herself, is the day that you will see timabababaluka running through the streets looking in the back of trucks for the pods that are replacing the human race. Still... if there is to be a takeover, I suppose a hammocking other half is an acceptable concession.

It IS rad. Totally. But still, keep an eye on her...

I know what you mean, Doctari! Same thing happened to me.

I got a hammock for Christmas, hung out in the yard a few times then a few months later my wife decides to sleep out in it then she said that she wanted one. Her Black bird dbl came in last week. Guess what is hung out on the deck right now Monday night? She is sleeping out tonight testing another sleeping bag / under pad combo and I did not even suggest it.

These hammocks are contagious!

I gotta get Baby Momma enrolled in one of those relationship classes...she wont go in the water, makes fun of my sewing machine, and wont even try a hammock.....hmmmmmm maybe its time to upgrade.
