The smaller one will keep you dry with no problems.

Wondering how you came up with 15oz more to carry the Superfly? MacCat Standard and UQ protector about 17-18 oz and new style Superfly 19 oz.

Just trying to make your decision harder if the weights really are that close

I have have very good luck staying dry with the small size of the standard and when the weather is bad I get my hammock up tight under the tarp for max coverage. Lately I have been using one door that I made to put on the corner that might see the most wind and it works great for the few extra ounces.

Take one of each, just carry them outside your pack. LOL
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

I have the old Superfly and have the doors attached by 2qZq that includes all guy line 8 of them and the continuous ridge line and stuff sack
the macat with guylines is 11 oz I would be taking the UQprotector 7 oz for added warmth it provides as well as protects the down 10 days don't want wet down
