Okay here is my plan as of now. I am going to fix a dutch oven full of North Carolina BBQ. It is a vinegar based BBQ. For most it will not be real spicy but it is very very tasty. It can be eaten with or without buns. If someone would please bring some buns to share.
Also this hanging cannot proceed without a peach cobbler so I'll fix one using our homegrown peaches. tnhillbilly

Well that settles it. Who wouldn't drive a few hours for real BBQ and cobbler?
Sign me up for this one. Looking forward to hanging in the mid-state esp. near the hallowed ground of the burial place of one M.Lewis. That would be a National Monument too by the way.
Looking forward to seeing Neo--been a while since I called him 'Recon' HA!
So what can I bring to go with BBQ-tabasco? Texas pete?
If I surivive the harrowing journey from the mountains to the flats I plan on doing a short 1 hour road ride on the Trace Saturday mid-morning if any are interested....I'll have my mtn bike with me from a previous engagement in northern Georgia so it wont be none of this 18-20mph pace

Wow, BBQ, Peach cobbler and wings......I know I loved going to this hang for a reason!!!! We are still going to bring the green beans and corn on the cob. We could also bring some hamburger buns as well.
