Yes it's a great park to camp at and you've got the SHT right there too if you want to do more hiking than the park trails offer. The campsites in the park aren't cheap at $16 a night since it's considered one of the premiere parks but it's worth it when you factor in access to the showers and good parking.

Thanks for bringing back memories. Camped at that state park before
paddling out and around the lighthouse. Truly a wonderful area.

Good show! What a beautiful area, drove thru there on the way to the BWCA last summer, and will again this summer, might have to find time to stop and smell the roses.
