    Looking for last minute bugnet

Looking for a very lightweight bug net. I have a bug sock that i had made but i think it is a little short for my eno single nest with whoopies and keeps ripping at the corners have had it sewed a few times now. I'm looking for something slightly more than a sock since i think it would be better to have a little extra room and i dont really like how the sock stretches when i sit in the hammock it feels like its going to completely rip. I'm leaving for a trip on the AT in Vermont to New Hampshire next Friday so if there's anyway someone could help me out before then it would be greatly appreciated.

I have one of the warbonnet bug nets and I'm really happy with it. If he has one in stock you'd def. have it by next friday. Good luck on the hike.
    Good luck,

If you're pinched for time, you could treat the hammock with permethrin instead. The Sawyer brand spray permethrin is available at Wal Mart, Bass Pro, and other stores that sell hunting equipment. I'm fairly certain I've seen it at the West Hartford REI before.

I say contact papa smurf. He makes custom bug socks for all hammocks. I have one for my traveler and love it. He does excellent work. My bug sock weighs in at just over 2 oz. Made of tulle. And I'm loving it.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

    CTGuy,
Maybe you'd be happier with a HUG - Hammock Half Bug Net from this thread?

I've built a couple, with dejoha's permission, for folks to test. I have a blank cut out and ready to finish. Maybe I could knock it out tonight before I start packing and get it in the mail for you?

I've got a friend using one this weekend at Trail Days with his GT Nano. If anybody wants to take a peek, find me this weekend.

Can't make the 8 hour drive for Trail Days (too much going on this month already) but I'd love to see a picture of yours with the N7 - If you could try and get someone to take one I'd appreciate it!

No problem. It's a friend who will be using it, so I'll try to grab a couple shots.
    His setup will be:
    GT Nano 7
    Diamond Asym Tarp
    HUG net
DWR Sock (for possible blowing rain)

I would like one of the HUGs for my Nano-7. If CTGUY does not want the one you have ready to sew I'll take it. I need one for my upcoming section hike.

    Thanks,
    Dale
