Another hike in the Columbia River Gorge

We went back to the Columbia River Gorge for another hike to catch the last of the waterfalls we have yet to see. The hike was way easier than the Angel's Rest hike I posted a while back. Still, there is no less beauty and wonder. Even ran across some Spring ducklings.

had to sneak a shot in of the family units...

    a couple of ducklings

this fun little slide goes down about 400 feet...straight down

    What an awesome day...as usual!

Actually no rain that day. It has been raining for..ohhh.....the last nine months, but it's starting to give us a break. We always carry ponchos and light jackets just in cast though. it can move in in the blink of an eye.

Could you tell me what trail head you used. I'm heading up and was planning on taking an over night on Eagle Creek. Your pictures look like it may be the first park of Eagle Creek with the rail line below. I don't know exactly, I've only been up one time a year ago.

Its such a nice area to hike and pack around.
I might be going to the Eagle Creek to 7.5 mile this weekend for an overnighter.

It's the trailhead at Horsetail falls, just beyond Multnomah falls. (going away from Portland)
