    Quick Fabric Question

I am going to try to construct my first hammock. My question is if I have 1.9 oz ripstop nylon what kind of weight limit should I expect. I figure it will be around 120" x 60" if that matters.

I built one out of 1.9 rip stop and it held my tugboat fanny, my boots and as it was winter so it held a lot of quilts, pads and other warming up stuff too. I've heard that a 1.9 ripstop hammock made right will support up to 300+ lbs, but that's from some folks here.

Just as an FYI, Warbonnet lists information about his 1.0, 1.1 and 1.7 fabrics here. Hope that helps.
