Using a 4S cuben tarp in the summer is no big deal when packs weights are way down already.

Just my opinion, wife says its not worth much
I was using the same thought process. Simpler one piece design, fold the doors back if I don't need them but always there when the weather turns or I need some privacy. I was looking forward to the one piece 4 season in the new material as I followed this thread.

    my two cents

In the case of cuben, a simple, single piece of finished fabric sounds more preferable to me over having removable doors. Those removable door attachements wouild probably ADD to the total weight considering the gossamer weight of cuben material.

indeed tarp setup is a very personal thing, but I would much prefer a single peice tarp to a tarp with doors. Just my personal preference.

Yea I was wishing for the doors to be right on the tarp. Seems for the weight of cuban that attached doors would be the ticket. I do not like messing with more pieces and attachments if I can simplify things. We shall see what it looks like for hassle factor of putting/taking off the add on doors.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe both options are a good idea. It seems like people are either one way or the other which makes sense. When you pay alot of money for something you want it exactly like you want it. I need to kick all this around some more.

    Hey, how's the kicking going???

I noticed that your web site is back up. I sure hope you've been busy sewing/bonding some reflective cuban 4 season tarps!!

I was hoping to see some special offer or something on your web site about them??!!!
