What are the dimensions on this?
Life's a game. Play HARD!
I received my cuben hex tarp last week. Just wanted to share some thoughts and photos. My first impressions was this sucker is light. A nice tight little package in a small stuff sac. LET'S SET IT UP! That day I was have 30 MPH winds. I was a little worried about it might tear. But I remember seeing a video with stronger winds. This cuben fiber reminds me of a potato chip bag. I felt like I was in a Jiffy popcorn bag. The quality of this tarp is flawless. Nice straight bonded seams. pitches tight, goes up easy with the tarp lock tie-out lines.
I have used MacCat tarps and a Supperfly Traps in the past so this is all I have for comparison. Cuben does not stretch. It pitches tight. With the wind blowing it does not blow in while hang in your hammock and hit you. In fact. The tightness of the tarp is like how the Marines make their beds at boot camp. You could bounce a quarter off of it, though I wouldn't do that. I gave it thump with my forefinger it sounded like a snare drum. I was making music!
As the line lock are concerned It is a nice feature. Not sure if I will continue to use them in the future. But until I have finely tuned this puppy in I'll keep it for now. I hung it with the line lock ridge line and also a continuous ridge line setup. Depending on what type of line used this whole system will weigh in form 10 to 11 oz.

Two questions. Do you add doors and do when mention Hammock Forums $225 deal if we order?
I am glad you like the tarp. The pitch looks good but if you were to hang the tarp on a fixed ridgeline from one tree to the next your ridgeline would be tighter and you would put alot less stress on the ridgeline tieouts. This goes for silnylon tarps too. Plus setup is about 10 times faster and easier to adjust.
In my photos, I used the ridge line tie outs. But I found it much easier to use a continuous ridge line with prussic knots used in the grommet whole.

MountainF, Why no side pullouts on the hex tarp???
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.
Bingo, thats why I want them on my four season. I own a bridge aswell and have nightmares about spreader bars through cuban fabric.
I have a HexaLite tarp in the traditional cuben and can't wait to use it this weekend. With all the guylines and four Ti stakes (also from Lawson) it weighs only 10.4 ounces.
Beautiful work Lawson!
