    First night hangin

Did a little backyard test last night.

Partly cloudy and damp, low of 57*.

Setup under the canopy of 2 trees in my yard, with a cheapo wallyworld tarp hung diamond over me...... it was barely large enough to fully cover, glad it didn't rain.

I have no TQ or UQ yet, so all I used was my "weighs-a-ton" Kelty synth 35* bag.

Threw on some sweat pants and sweat shirt, and went out into the wilds of my 2/3 acre outback around 10pm. Took me about 10 minutes to get the bag comfortable situated, but after that it didn't take long to drift off.

I normally toss and turn like a tornado in my bed, waking up regularly to re-situate probably 5-6 times every night.

In the WBBB last night, I only remember waking up 3 times, and I think that was because the bag got bunched up and was restrictive. Slept on my back the entire night.... COMFORTABLY, and woke up at my regular time, refreshed and well rested.

I was surprised to find however that even though it only went down to 57*, my back was beginning to get chilly from the compression of the bag below me. I would have thought it would have had to get colder before I would have felt that much chill........ guess I'm gonna need a thin pad or summer uq.

Still learning obviously, but I think I'm gonna like this hangin stuff.
Very happy so far with the WBBB.

Yeah the WBBB us a comfy sleep. A cheap CCF blue pad will work for summer if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Try a car windshield reflector. I think they are a little softer and will mold to your back better.
