Will one set last a thru-hike?

Will one set of my JRB tarp tensioners last an entire thru-hike? I'm thinking no due to the friction put on the line by tying them everday. Any thoughts?

I would think they would survive. They are pretty easy to make so I might think about having an extra set in a bounce box or something like that. Just in case. Better to have a backup.

Am I freaking yet? Well...let's put it this way, I'm now resorting to wearing Depends undergarments 24/7 now, because everytime I realize I only have 91 days until I leave for Georgia, I sh*t my pants!

The loft is great as long as you don't pull the velcro too tightly and compress them.

Really? You haven't had a problem with compression when you pull the velcro too tight?

I only have this problem when I try to get the second use out of it. I don't want to hike with a single use item.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
