I am looking for the right backpacking hammock. Can anyone tell me if the Skeeterbeaters have a sleeve underneath to slip insulation into?
Thanks,
DanO

no and they are thin.
I was looking for a double-layer hammock for my son recently and I wanted something with integrated bugnet. Ended up going with the Claytor Camping Hammock. It may weigh a bit more, but the price was right and it fit his needs.
Hope this helps.

HH deep jungle is double layer with bug net. so are the WB black birds
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.
Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......
Thanks for your replies, I am going to go withthe Mosquito hammock CO. Expedition, I think. It has the sleeve and is rated for 350 lbs, so it will hold me and my gear with plenty safety margin. Now I gotta figure out how to pay for a new Back Country Boiler and a Tenkara rod.....
