    REI Kilo for UQ

I have a 750 fill +40 REI kilo and was thinking about using it as a UQ. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well, first, welcome to the hammock forums. What you are thinking of doing has been done by others here on the forums. I haven't done it myself, but a search for sleeping bag underquilt conversion should bring up some information. Here is a link that leads to some discussion on the topic. Hopefully others with more experience will pipe up, but if you have any sewing experience, this is definitely doable.

Not sure on the dimensions of your bag, but, you could check out Shug's vid on the pod, as you might be able to rig your bag as a pod?!?!?
