    Adjustable ridgeline on your WBBB?

I saw one of Shug's video of his diy hammock where he put an adjustable ridgeline on it. It looked like he could adjust how flat a lay he could get in it. I was just curious if anyone had done this and is it needed.

Now I have experimented a little with mine on the tightness of the suspension which adjusted the lay somewhat. I'm just curious if this is really all I need to do in changing my WBBB.

Basically just curious to what others may have done.

    Thank you, Matt

For the most part an adjustable structural ridgeline allows you to tweak your sag. Once dialed in, it can be replaced with a fixed length ridgeline or you can just leave it on.

I know Brandon talks about the amount of bend in the ridgeline when laying in it on his set up video. When I have had it like he does in the video with about 90* of bend, the hammock is very comfortable. Anyway, just throwing out ideas and trying to learn. Didn't know if anyone had tried the adjustble ridgeline with prussics in their BB.

Hung in mine last night. First adjustment had too much angle and the ridgeline was totally saggy. Next time, and last time, ridgeline was a little too taunt and I had more of a ridge in the hammock material. Unfortunately before I got the hang just right I fell asleep. Either one was close enough but I'll work on it next time.

You get the angle of the dangle right and you'll get that 90 degree bend in the ridgeline, then you'll be stylin.
