Last summer, I never got bit through the DL 1.7 I had. Will report back when I use my DL 1.1 this weekend.

None that I know of using either the 1.7dbl and the 1.0dbl.

I have been eaten up in my Hennessy until I used permethrin spray. I have not been bitten in my WBBB 1.7 double but I spray it also and use it only in early spring and late fall after mosquitoes are gone. I could try it out I guess but I really don't want to take the chance.

    marketing?

Is marketing the art of solving problems that do not exist?

    No bites here boss.

No bites in two hangs so far with the 1.1 Dbl. I don't need a $$$ study to tell me that this hammock is skeeter-proof! Although I did hit the UQ with Permethrin spray in the deep woods - in case.

I think this is pure marketing strategy. Good for them! I am keeping my Warbonnet!

Heck, mosquitoes can bite through a snake's skin and I think even alligators. I'd think ripstop nylon would pose no problem for them at all.

That said, I use sleeping pads in my hammock, which I also treat with Permethrin. So, I've not had any bites (I have a HH).
