I always like a mag to take in my truck, in the tube, or on the toilet.
    Being an e-publisher and an e-author . . .
    I still like a nice mag . . .

I do not like the page layout of the Backpaker mag,

    to much graphic . . .

    I have thought . . . if only . . . I could afford to start one.

I agree we need a Hammock mag.

Hhhhmmm... I have my own DELL servers and they are fast. 50.000 visitors at the same time is no issue.

I can design a website in no time but than it starts!

Who will take care of content as reviews, stories, interviews, techniques, gear etc etc. it can have 'hammock TV' as well, no problem.

I think that this forum can grow fast with an eZine next to it and there should be a link to the forum that nobody can overlook!

On the other hand... printed matter can be cool as well, 6 x per year or 4 x?

    Example:

1000 magazines of 100 glossy pages in full color cost me about US$ 2500 to print

Shipping costs from Europe to any country in the world are US$ 5

Price per issue would become USD 7,50

Once again, it's just a crazy idea and I know that it's a niche market as mentioned before, but it FUN!
