    Pokaspot, you are not the only one. Cambuckle straps are the bomb. I have homemade whoopie slings, but I still like the cambuckles, they go right in the bishop sack with the hammock. I don't tie an overhand knot either.

    Here is a terrific set of instructions that I used.....Whoopie Slings in a "Sticky" under Suspension Systems, Ridgelines, & Bug Nets
    They seem complicated until you start and then I found them quite easy. Slo wrote stellar instructions.
