Flatline, did that big log laying on the ground fall out of one of those trees you were hanging from? It looks almost as thick as the trees themselves! That is pretty terrifying!
that log was from an adjacent poplar tree. it would have fallen across my ridge lines. i'll try to find a pic of the tree and edit it in.... not a good photo, but the tree on the right is the base of the fallen "log"...
