    Snugpak underblanket

Tried it yesterday and it took me down to -17 with no problems what so ever. Actually it even felt a bit warm. Amazing. This underblanket great thing to have, when you spend time in cold and wet areas.

I wonder why we haven't seen our cottages use the center shock cord adjustment on UQs?

WL uses it to cinch up the hammock sides, and 2qzq use it to help lift up their UQP.

I've got the DD version. Supplemented with a ccf pad and IX insulated hammock sock, I've used it down to -36F... not too shabby

Thanks for the post Bob. I made it through my first hammocking year with a CCF pad but want to get a UQ for this year. Good to see your thoughts on this product as it's obviously an attractive proposition given the cost of shipping and importing something from the States.

I have one of the original BCUK/snugpac ones. Great, but a little bulky, it's never let me down.
I have the shock cords gathered at each end on mini-biners, which I clip onto prusiks on the tarpline. Works well and allows for easy adjustment.

    I have this one http://www.ddhammocks.com/product/underblanket

There's also this one http://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Snugpak_H...dBundle=175531 which I think is about the same except for logos.
