    Hi All,

    Here are some distances.

    Berowra to Camp 5.12
    Mt Ku-ring-gai to camp 4.58
    Crossland to Camp 1.51

So a short walk out on saturday afternoon to crosslands should work well for you Pigslayer.

If the preference is to park at Crosslands and set out from there, we could either just walk to the campsite, or alternatively stash the packs at the campsite and walk up to Naa Badu Lookout, then back to the campsite - just an option, and maybe a waste of good hanging time .
How is your knee going? Are you up for a walk in from Berowra or Mt Ku-ring-gai.

Knee's doing OK. I can do long-ish walks without it troubling me too much now, I'm just a bit slow on the downhills. We did Bundeena to Otford the Sunday before last and that stirred it up a bit, but it's coming back right again.

So I'm happy to start from Mt Kuring-gai or Berowra railway station (or Horsnby or Cowan) or walk in from Crosslands, whatever the consensus is.

    Hi All,

I'm going to suggest we meet at Mt Kuring-Gai at 12pm (Assuming no objections?). If someone can pick up Pig. Slayer from his car point at crosslands and bring him along, then he's only got a short walk out in the evening. All good! Let's hope the Weather plays along.....

See you all there next Saturday!

    Sounds good.

Leave from Mt Kuring-gai at 12 and head straight to Camp for plenty of gear tweaking, twig breaking (Bateman), gear talking and general fireside hanging.

A earlyish start on Sunday morning heading back to Mt Kuring-gai

Looking forward to meeting some new faces and learning alot from your experiences between trees.

Wish I could come along also but unfortunately I'm working this weekend. So far my only overnight in the BBWB is one night on the great ocean walk a couple of weeks ago. I don't have an UQ yet so was suffering a bit of cold bum syndrome.

I'd love to make it to one of these outings to learn the ins and outs of this hammocking caper. Maybe next time.

Be very interested in everyones opinions on UQ's for aussie conditions. I'm a bit iffy on down because of the issues with rain and humidity.

    Have a great weekend

    Cheers

    Mark

    Just a last minute note...

Bateman & I will be at Mt Kuring-Gai Station just prior to Midday. I haven't been there before, but I'll find a convenient spot as near to the station as I can. (White Holden Captiva with roof rack).

Pig.Slayer, are you all fixed up for car position/lift?

    See you all tomorrow!

I think from post #8 that Lepmeister is picking him up. If not confirmed before we set out tomorrow am, we'll allow a bit of extra time and come by Crosslands on our way to the station (we've got a grey Subaru Outback).

I'm not sure what the parking is like at Mt K station either.

I'm swinging by crosslands on the way.

Parking in Glenview Rd just off Pacific Hwy where the track head is.
