    which tarp?

    hey folks
it seems like my mac cat standard is not giving me as much coverage on my switchback as on my blackbird, so i am thinking of getting a deluxe .
    is anybody using this combo?

I have an OES Deluxe in Spinn and it covers my Light Hiker and standard Switchback well.

    thanks shane,
i really like my standard on my wbbb, becouse it gives me enough coverage without being too big, i don't want to feel like i'm in a tent when i am in my hammock, i wasn't sure if the length of the deluxe would be enough to quite get me covered

I got the McCat deluxe for my LH. have only set it up on the deck using a vario hammock stand for the LH, but I'm a bit concerned about rain protection. I know others say that it's fine, but it looks a bit skimpy to me!

I just received my SB today and I am looking to get another tarp also. I was looking to buy a SF from Warbonnet but when I went back and read the thread whaen the SB was announced it was recommended to get a tarp with a 156" ridge line. Not sure whfat the Superfly ridgeline is but I do not think it is that long. So any help out there would be appreciated.

i realy love them both, but being able to lay left or right in my switchback is quite an advantage, also having the dual zipper on the net is really nice. my issue with the mc standard is that bug net on the sb is quite high above the hammock, so it is hard to get the tarp low enough to give the same coverage , even though the hammocks are the same length.

i've used my standard on my wbbb without any problem, although i'm used to the clark ul rainfly ,which is very small compared to most.
it just takes a little more care to set up

So what tarps have a 144" ridgeline? The only one I see right off is the MacCat Ultra.

Hennessy also has a syl tarp with a 144" centerline. I have one and it gives ample coverage to the standard Switchback.
