Hanger from Alabama

Hey guys!

Long time lurker and never have introduced myself. Im a long time camper, but just recently decided to get into hammock camping. Have a Hennessy Expedition on its way to me (I work at an outdoors store so the Pro Deal really helped on the price) and plan on making a DIY hammock soon!

Welcome to HF from Bama............Are you going to be able to make the Walls of Jericho hang this weekend. I know it will be a drive from Mobile but well worth the time. What part of Mobile? Really miss living in LA...............

I am not sadly! I have a wedding to go to this weekend, so me and a buddy are going to Little River State Forrest and sadly my new hammock won't be in my hands yet. Ill be stuck in my MSR Hubba Hubba...which is my go to tent. I hope to make it to the next hang though.
I work at Alabama Outdoors here in Mobile and I have had plenty of people coming in and buying ENOs and every time they I try and get them to make their own slap straps and point them to this website. Had a few guys come in the other day going to the AT and the guy had 2 days until he left and decided to make his own hammock AND came in and showed me his work. I was quite impressed!
