Prusiks on Lash It/Techline?

Does anybody have any experience in what is best to use for prusik cord, on Lash It or Sclittlefields Techline?
What do you guys use?

I use zing-it on zing-it both same diameter, no problems. Pretty sure zing-it and lash-it are the same thing. No experience with the techline.

I use the same diameter line on my ridgeline. Be it lash-it, zing-it, fling-it, or whatever catchy name the individual vendors call it.
Three wraps seems to do the trick, sometimes four are needed, especially on new line. That coating is slick, and I've found that sliding the wrap to and fro a few times loosens the coating and helps it grab better. Yet still be easily adjustable when no load is applied.

For climbing purposes the change in diameter is more crucial (larger main line vs. smaller prussik line) for obvious reasons, but for a tarp I don't see the need. Mine stays put in the wind and rain with the same diameter.

+1 on what Gargoyle says. I use a 3 wrap on my ridgeline. Sometimes it sticks a bit, but with 3 or 4 wraps it holds and has worked reliably for a year now.

Just a word of caution...while lash-it and zing-it are two colors of the same product, fling-it is a different braid, not readily splice-able and I find it more problematic for our uses.

You are correct.
My apologies to anyone led astray.

Fling it will work. No need to splice and bury every line we carry. Knots and their simplicity on the trail can be useful knowledge. I do not carry a full splicing tool array while in the field. A quick knot can be tied to form a prussik loop on any type of cord, including shockcord.
Splicing is pretty, but not the only answer.

also braided mason line grips zing-it about the same... and nice for a little color contrast too
