    I use a leather sheath - basically the same as the product # SAW615 on page http://www.wesspur.com/saws/scabbards.html although that is not where I bought it. I have an old day pack with ski slits (?) behind the side pockets and the saw+sheath fits very well in the slit for easy access.

    note I do not store the saw in the sheath but rather hang it from a nail - storing a saw in a leather sheath tends to cause the saw to rust

    no opinion on the rubberized sheath - I've never used one - I picked the leather cause I knew it is easy to get the saw into / out of and will last a very long time
