I thought this might be a good deal for some DIYers.... not the highest quality down, but.....

Mostly feathers. Buy the good stuff if you want to go with down.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I bought an 800 fill pillow when i thought stormcrow was out and I recently finished stuff ing my top quilt with it. It worked out just fine but I still recommend buying from one of our vendors. Ie hammock gear, tree to tree trail gear, etc...

I still have a Sierra Designs #200 mummy bag

from the late '70s. Back then the standard fill for "quality" gear was 550 fill. But in terms of loft, softness, light weight and lack of pinfeathers today's down is far, far superior. My Hammock Gear TQ and UQ are works of art.

Also read the fine print.... pillow in a pillow, the outer pillow being the down. Means you get about a tablespoon of down and a big pillow full of hybrid material, most likely.
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.
