The last two years have taken me through some intense hands-on research looking for lighter weight packs and sleeping arrangements. I've found a great pack that works on my abused back. Sadly, the hammocks haven't worked out - no hip or shoulder pain (good!), but could not fall asleep until the wee smalls. Sad for me, good for you - see below!
