    Howdy from soon-to-be mosquito infested Michigan!

    Back home from my big trip now, so thought I'd take the time to say "Hi!"

    I've lived in Michigan all my life, been camping for at least 15 years, and discovered hammocks about ten years ago.

    A few weeks ago a trip got cancelled, and I met a few other not-so-happy campers in the parking lot, who introduced me to this website, and here I am!

    I've been a tinkerer all my life, always thinking there has to be a better way, seldom satisfied with the way everybody else does things. I'm the only guy I know who has a hammock set up INSIDE his house, but now that I've found this site, I'm sure I'll meet some others!

    I just cleared up a space out back for our new back yard camp site for inpromptu single night camps.
    Will get photos in a few days.

    Hello from another Michigan man. You'll find a lot of diy stuff here and a good number of indoor hangers. Just set up one in the basement myself. We try to set up a good number of hanging trips throughout the year, so hopefully we'll see you on one.

    Good to see you on here V... It was great meeting you in the parking lot, man what a weird world we live in... I never would have thought we would have met a hammock camper there...
