I have read several threads about occasional misting thru a silnylon tarp. My first time out with my MacCat deluxe was in a hard rain. I had a good pitch, but noticed little "flicks" of water on my face every couple of minutes. It was very small, not really a problem, just enough to disturb my attempt at sleep. I'm sure it wasn't water dripping down the ridgeline. I'm pretty certain it was the fabled "misting." If that is as bad as it gets, I can totally live with it. My question is does that give anyone concern as far as down top quilts. Is the dwr on the quilts enough for this speck type sprinkle? My guess is yes, but I would like to hear your thoughts. I currently have a 40 degree synthetic bag now, so this is more for future reference. Thanks.
