Why is it that top quilts seem to cost more than under quilts? I couldn't find an answer on this and I haven't made either. So I don't know how much work goes into either one. Just curious. Thanks.

Top quilts are generally larger, and thus have more material and insulation in them.

a 3d footbox adds cost as well.
