Ahhhh 1.1 dbl or 1.7 dbl

Ok...I made the decision to go with the WBBB, but now I can't decided between the 1.1 dlb or the 1.7. I'm 6'0 and 215 pounds. How much difference is there comfort wise between the two. I've been known to rush into things and I want to be sure this time

When I posted a similar question, Brandon/Warbonnetguy suggested the 1.1. I'm 6' and 230 ish. He warned me that the 1.7 is very heavy in comparison, and was made for much heavier loads. I figure he would know best so I went with his advice. I'm expecting my new toy to arrive Monday.

Wooo awesome man! Did they charge you as soon as you placed the order, or did it take awhile....I really want to order it now, but I really should wait till pay day

I think The charge went through right away. I paid with a credit card through Paypal.

I'm 260 with BB 1.7 dbl and a Traveler 1.1 dbl. Like the 1.1 dbl a bunch and will probably get a BB in that weight. YMMV

I'm 215-220, and I had the 1.0DL. My current favorite hammock is a 1.1 double. (I'm off to hang in it now!)

I weight 285 and am 6ft2 and use the 1.7 dbl. I know that the difference can be how flat of a lay you get between the different models
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

I have a 1.7 dl, doesn't seem heavy at all. YMMV

I have both the 1.7 double & 1.1 single and I can't tell any difference in comfort between the two, the weight saving is very noticeable though.

I weight 210 and maybe its psychological but I like the 1.7 dbl lay better then the 1.1 dbl lay. Ive only taken naps in the 1.1 so maybe I need a nights sleep in it but I really like the 1.7 dbl. My next hammock will be a 1.7 single traveler as I am curious about how that will lay.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
