I'm impressed, nice looking UL set-up there. I certainly couldn't go out into the wilds with that little amount of gear, but HYOH.

and yes, you should include the light/tp/other carried stuff in your baseweight. it's likely 6.5 lbs... still really nice.

A bit of a thread rob

Ok I am going to rob this thread a wee bit...but in the good name of U.L. and details of list. Moderators feel free to move or delete.

Tonejones and I have a very similar list, save for mine is more detailed and I am submitting it for those that keep asking for the nitty gritty details.

    MY U.L Hammock list

I hope this can be of some help to everyone that is trying to achieve weights that SGT Rock, Tonjones and a few of us others have achieved and or are trying to achieve.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.

How I'd love to have that burn, haha. If its still for sale for in a couple weeks I'm interested. If I have the money.

i used to have a blast 16, special prototype deal. it was 3.9oz
i now have a blast 26, which is packed with features (stock) not to mention all the add on's one could do.. it comes in at 7.6oz
How do you like your blast? I've been contemplating purchasing one. I have a custom GG gorilla clone made of xpac I use now, but I was looking at picking up a blast for some of my lighter loads.

OP, Nice list by the way. My "happy place" list is sub 9 lbs. The new pack would get me sub 8 lbs. For those that are interested you can check it out here. For fun I tried to make a SUL list as well but couldn't quite get it down below 5 lbs. Got close though.

What kind of size/volume is the packed rucksack? IMO a less bulky bag in terms of dimensions is a big selling point for ul. I would love to be able to fit everything I need in a shoulder bag!

I'm at 6-7kg base, lots of food for thought here.. Confident I can get it sub 5kg with a couple of adjustments..
